Mode of Action:

Unlike other products, which only kill a small amount of adult flies, STRIKE Professional Midge Control contains an EPA approved insect growth regulator, or IGR, which mimics the natural bio-chemicals in an insect's body. Pre-adult midge and filter flies absorb the IGR into their systems, where it disrupts normal development and causes them to remain in the pupal stage with a noticeable difference in as few as 10 days.

Where/When to use:

STRIKE can be applied to any infested area where the sewage enters the system, such as Wastewater Treatment Facilities Areas, Aeration Tanks, Clarification Tanks, Filtration Tanks, Trickling Filters, Clarifier, Sand Filter, Anaerobic Ponds, Partial Cap, Ponds, Sludge Drying Beds, Solid Cap, Pulp or Paper Mills ponds.
